Groton, NH sits just beyond Herbron and just South West of Newfound lake. While it is not a very large town, there are some absolutely stuning areas within the towns limits. The Cockermouth River along with the South Branch of the Baker River both flow through Grotons wilderness. Groton is an area where it is still possible to purchase large tracts of land.
